where to look online for houses in texas?
Hi, I have been looking online at realtor.com for houses in texas, but they do not seem to put much detail into the descriptions and pictures on this site. Is there a better sight that caters to texas buyers? Somewhere i can get a good description of the homes and lots of pics?

Please keep in mind that real estate sites that are not 'trade' sites (such as HAR and AustinHomeSearch) cannot be posted and are considered advertising. Suggestions may be sent via DM.

Oh, that's a bummer because while that website I posted is hosted by a real estate company it has a complete listings of homes in the Dallas area no matter which real estate company has the listing. I've posted it before and it didn't get removed. But hey, that's cool.

ok I hope its all right to do this . .. .
Moderator cut: advertisingIt allows you to search the mls by zip, school district, etc and create a list of your homes that you can save online. It also emails you of any updatest to the listing and tells you if any price reductions were ever made to the listing.
Of course, I get an email or two everyday from a real estate agent linked to the site offering to help me but they are automated emails and I'm ignoring them. I'm still shopping around for a good agent via recommendations from co workers but I want to have a list of homes and an idea of pricing before we start the process and the website lets me do that.
Hope this isn't too much like advertising
Another way to find a good site is just google "dallas real estate free search" or something to that effect.

Sorry, that site is associated with a specific group of realtors. I cannot verify that is open to all realtors. I know it seems dumb, but you would not believe the can of worms that would be opened .

I am sorry that you are not pleased with realtor.com. I find it the best site. I don't know of others. Maybe you could contact the realtors associated with any house you are interested in on Realtor.com, and they could give you more info. The realtor is usually listed to the right of the listing.
