LMAO at Midland cost of living not being expensive. I pay $1100 for a one bedroom apartment that I could easily get for $600-700 in Houston or the Metroplex (not to mention gas/electricity). Westerntraveler is right - cost of living is through the roof due to the oil boom. Maybe in Cathy's days cost of living was cheap, but definitely not now.

Thanks tx09....in fact I think I saw that some real estate prices around Faudree road are on par with New York City.
