I know that Larry The Cable Guy says "Git-R-Done" but my question is, is that Texan or some other southern state?

I'd take it to be a south thing. Oh, we can make it a Texas thing ( thang ), so that's certainly not a problem with us.

It is sorta akin to "tump" or "tumped". It meant to turn something upside down, or fall off of/or out of something. Especially in an accidental or intentionally humorous and good-natured way.
For instance, if two kids were pulling another in a little red wagon, and it turned over, the one in the wagon would say "y'all tumped me over on purpose.."

HA, thanks. I read through all 14 pages of this thread to make sure that it hadn't been mentioned! I'll keep my ears open for tumped!

I haven't read all 15 pages of this topic so don't know if it was mentioned, but anyone listen to Dr. Phil? He uses a lot of idioms and colloquialisms that he says are Texan, but I never heard most of them until he said them. I have lived in Texas more than any other state, all OVER Texas.
