Of course the Republican adds are full of lies. So are the Democratic ones. Thats politics. They are all liars. They do things with statistics that you thought couldnt be done. They claim "Texas Values" (or whatever) like such a diverse state is so black and white.

Don't forget the $2500 savings per family, too.

I do think its more than a little ironic to hear Dan Patrick cite William Travis, Stephen Austin, and Sam Houston as guys who would never stand for "illegal immigration."

I have only seen television ads by Republicans so far. Seems the attn gen and lt. gov. races are pretty competitive in this primary cycle. I would really prefer hearing about Texas issues and problems instead of who can bash Obama the most. These politicians (if elected) will be dealing with mostly in-state issues, not Washington DC problems. One candidate for attn gen said "it's time we bring law and order to South Texas", and I was like HUH?? What is this idiot talking about? I wasn't aware that South Texas was out of control, lol. At least we all have a remote control with "mute", because we are all going to need it for the next two years.

Can someone please pass me the popcorn? No, not the Kool Aid - there's already too much of it being consumed around here. The POPCORN, just the POPCORN!

Oh...and a Dr Pepper please.

Is it too much to ask for a good old middle of the road Republican?

I want more fiscal responsibility, a sensible plan for illegal residents and less interfering with faith, or lack thereof, gay marriage, abortions and other social issues.

If ever there was a time for a third party that could take the red Democrats and the blue Republicans and walk away with everything, this is it.

This. I would be just fine voting for Republicans if we could get ones like this.
