Relocating; Conroe, Bryan or Harker Heights??
My first job out of college is relocating me in Feb to Conroe, Harker Heiights or Bryan/College Station. I would appreciate any advice or info you could give me about these cities and their surrounding areas.
I grew up in a Mid-West college town of about 120,000, I also lived in Denver for a summer internship and for a year in London, studying abroad. I enjoyed each of these locations and don't think the move should be a huge issue, I would just like to find a place that can keep me entertained and where I won't have a hard time meeting new people to go out with.
Thanks!!!!

I'm thinking Bryan/College Station. It is a College Town, after all. Conroe is sort of near Houston, but still kind of far just for nightlife. Last time I was there, there wasn't much to do, but that could have changed. I don't know about Harker Heights.

Harker Heights would be my LAST choice of those three.
B/CS would have a lot going for it size-wise and on the social side.
Conroe is very pretty, but it doesn't have a lot of activity.

well, i might agree, depending on what he/she wants in life socially etc..
i dont really care too much for killeen/harker heights area in terms of the landscape/geography..i like the towns on the western and north side of Ft Hood-Copperas Cove, Lampasas, Gatesville. i personally enjoy the whole area, but then again, i feel secure around military, as this is my background. so i feel right at home here, living around and working with and for the US Army.

I knew quite a few single, over 25's in CS who were very unhappy socially, but they had (relatively) good jobs. As love roses said, it is a college town.
