[quote=NLAM;5609]Hi everyone,
"Wifey and I are considering relocating from LA suburbs to either Dallas or Austin suburbs... I first looked at Dallas area and thought have narrowed it down to Plano, Richardson, Allen & Carrollton. But may now consider Frisco and Lewisville.

But the more i look and read, I'm starting to see that Austin area may be a better choice. So I've reasearched and narrowed that down to Cedar Park & Round Rock, but may also consider Georgetown and Pflugerville"

Suburbs are suburbs - Dallas has many "Austin-like" areas but the large majority are inside the city.

FL70 is on a distinguished road
How do the suburbs compare?

How does Keller compare to Round Rock? How does Corinth compare to Georgetown? These may not be good comparisons, they're simply some of the suburbs I know of.

Do Ft. Worth suburbs differ from true Dallas suburbs?

I've heard that FW is more 'Texas-style' than Dallas. If this is true (and please opine if you disagree) then do their suburbs follow suit?

Thanks.
