Default Fredericksburg

Hello all. I am tired of the high crime rate of the corpus christi area and was thinking of moving to Fredericksburg.

I was wondering how safe the town is, how good are the schools, how sunny, winter mild or harsh and the overall beauty of the area. I like trees and creeks and rolling hills. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Then you should have no problem with Fredericksburg. It will be a change of pace for you if you're coming from Corpus. Big change. You'll appreciate the setting in the Texas Hill Country. You'll notice a strong German heritage amongst the people and places there. It's a very different atmosphere, and it's much, much smaller.

I almost forgot. Here in the corpus area we have roaches. If you have a nice house and spray you normally don't get them inside but you can be outside and they dive bomb you from the air! Any problem with that in the Kerrville area?

Hill Country is gorgeous, but they still have their fair share of supersized roaches and crickets too.

As long as the roaches are not found on top of my restaurant's dinner table, I think we'll be just fine.
