Thank goodness the beloved former President had the presence of mind to realize he could not get the proper care in his hometown of Dallas. With our laughably substandard medical facilities--I mean they're second-rate, what with them being spread all around the joint, instead of being all in one place, a place as big as a downtown perhaps, with highfalutin architecture as far as the eye can see! No "world-class" stuff for us. Boo hoo.

I'm just mad he went all the way Up North, to that rotting, old rust-belt city of Chicago. Everyone knows it's losing population. It's only a matter of time before it's usurped entirely by some other burg. They're quaking in The City of Broad Shoulders, I just know it! And it's the hometown of "you-know-who." That's the final indignity!

Oh, the humanity!

Rush University Medical Center has one of the world's top joint replacement programs. Hardly surprising.

George W Bush?

So a fella from Connecticut had knee surgery done in Chicago.

Y'know he also used to live in DC, he's just another transplant.

Yeah, no surprise. When you're wealthy like the Bush's you have the added luxury of getting to choose the best place to go for any type of medical care...lol.

I know, I'm getting a little sick of those New Englanders with their fancy Ivy League educations and family compounds in Maine...claiming residency in TX just so they can avoid state income tax.

Tired of it I tell ya!
