I would like to say that the Blue berry fest is this weekend June 14, 2014 and is expect to hit 30,000 people for turn out this year.

Austin and has 14 city parks with biking/hiking trails. The city has also been awarded garden capital of Texas this year with beatuiful azeala trails and the largest in the state.Nacogodoches has 94 eateries in the city with new retail coming to the city.Splash kingdom is being built and the city has start ground on the new tech school with two major hospitals serving the city.Nacogdoche has sidewalks all over for pedestrian to walk and bicycle through out the city to visted the entertainment spot's.Nacogdoches has several lakes for rec activities and have lots of clubs. The city of Nacogdoches has about 12 clubs that are diversified into all genre's of music. The city offer camp grounds for familys to vacation and explore the world of survivor like hunting and fishing.Nacogdoches downtown sits in a valley and therefore living on east or west side you get a beautiful sight of downtown and neighborhoods. The city downtown has red bricks and lighting to making it sparkle at night.I will name a few of the festivals that are here blue berry fest,multi-cultrual fest,June tenth fest and the nine flags fest and two others are in the making of calling Nac home including a fest like SWSX fest in Austin which bring over 50 bands in the city that be a three night event.

I have basically sum up facts of Nacogdoches and this is one of the must see cities in Texas.

This city has so many hills with homes/apt built on them that will take your breath away at night seeing the lights on the hills is a ooh and ahhh feeling.

Welcome to the oldest city in Texas NACOGDDOCHES!

Really, where is our justification for making such a rude statement. I know for a fact there are far more boring places than Nacogdoches in Texas.

Your wife came all the way from Fargo to Nacogdoches with $6.00 in her pocket?

Nacogdoches reminds me a lot of the town my parents live in, Lake Jackson.. Which is ironically getting a Splash Kingdom water park near by and has the Texas Sea Center among other things. Just a small town of 30,000 or so, but SFA is much bigger than Brazosport College. Still, nothing to start dozens of threads about..

Nice place to retire to in East Texas. And I can say this as my family has been in Nacogdoches from before it was a state.
