Howdy yall,

I have wanted to get into the hobby of metal detecting for quite some time now. I have a history degree and I am absolutely fascinated with digging up pieces of the past. I know that Texas laws can be very restrictive on the use of metal dectectors, so I was wondering if anyone else has found a great way to enjoy their hobby.

Also, for those who do, have you found anything really amazing while detecting in Texas?
