I already did in a weather forum post once.

I compared each city's weather to an actress.

Depends. Austin chick would have more endurance in bed, Dallas lady would be more of a Stepford wife type. San Antonio chick would be more accepting of your flaws. Houston chick would be more easy-going but possibly boring.

Find a job where you would like to live if Houston doesn't make you happy. The city doesn't have enough room for people with this kind of attitude.

Houston is that slightly overweight polite lady that likes the comforts of life but is a bit self conscious. She likes the cultural attractions in her city like the symphony, but hates to be outside. She doesn't dress as nice as her Dallas sister, but she might have had some plastic surgery though. She likes the varied ethnic cuisine of Houston. She's protestant.

Austin is that very thin athletic chick with little body fat, flat chested, naturally tanned from being in the sun. She wears shorts and tank tops most of the time, when she's not in her bathing suit. She loves to hike, bike, swim, anything outdoors. She is mostly vegetarian, but sometimes vegan. She's atheist.

San Antonio is that fat chick that is very nice. She knows she's overweight but she doesn't care. She compensates for that by being a great cook and sleeping with you on the first date. She doesn't know how to dress either. She is naturally curvaceous but like I said overweight. She likes Fiesta, TexMex food, and amusement parks. She's Catholic.
That is scary accurate.

Not at all. If that is scary, then I hope you never come up out of your moms basement.

It's based all on stereotypes.

I admit to lol'ing at cBach's post. There's good fun in stereotyping and I think people should laugh at themselves more often.

Right. So when are you moving to Houston, Mr. "Upper east side of Texas"...?

Actually, Austin is pretty much like Dallas & Houston, only smaller...& maybe a little better, except there's too many GrapeNut Californians moving here...so maybe we're not a little better.

But Real estate is getting overpriced & THIS development is getting worse. So those without a job & those who use the word "gush" in a sentence, & those who want to turn Austin even MORE Socialist, Please don't move here.
So, if you're NOT west of MoPac, Austin isn't a good place to raise your family? I live East, though not in Austin, and it's a darn good place to raise my family.
