Oh man, ya'll have definitely made me laugh with some of these! It is so sad but it is really true!! You never hear of people make fun of, say, Utah, or Ohio. Those states never get made fun of. But no one has as much pride as Texans. I am so proud of being from Texas, I will never leave for more than a couple of weeks at a time. Sure, I get sick of people thinking we all have cattle and oil wells (although I would not complain if I had a few!) We do not all ride horses and say "yee haw" and "howdy". We do not all drink beer (well, wait a minute, every one I know does, I take that back!) So I just stay in my happy little state and I don't have to hear people talk trash to me, because I am very Texas in the sense that I am too opinionated and will fight!

I think most of it is Tv and the old West. I know I wasn't making fun of Texas.
