you'll never worry about tornadoes, hurricanes, boiling hot humidity, baseball size hail. Those are real possibilities every year in much of Texas.
Just to clarify, those each occur in some part of Texas but all of them don't appear in
much of Texas. It all depends on what part of Texas you're talking about which one you're likely to have. West Texas is not so much for the humidity or the hurricanes, for example. Hurricanes tend to hit on the coast for obvious reasons

, while here in Central Texas we get rain from them which we're usually VERY happy about. (Plus the occasional flock of seagulls blown off course looking desperately for an ocean.) It gets really hot here sometimes (we have an 11 month growing season, and the one month off is more likely to be August than January). I've seen baseball sized hail here, once in the past almost 40 years I've lived in the area - pea sized is more common, might get that once in a while.
