Consider Tyler/Longview. Strong economies, lower cost housing, etc.

Yes, this is where we relocated from. Both my kids were born there. We had a good life there, a wonderful home and friends, but we did not see the community as one with growth potential and my husband needed additional professional challenge. Thankful for my time there, though.
