There was a time when drive-up liquor stores operated in NM. That was stopped by a new law passed a few years ago. Considering the high incidence of DUI in NM, it's a step in the right direction, IMO.

And "regulated" still means trained, disciplined, & equipped. It does not mean, nor has it ever meant, "externally controlled."

There is no right enumerated in the BOR that is written as being subject to the whim of government.

Is it true that Texas law forbids stores from selling alcohol on Sundays? What about late nights and early mornings on week days?

You also cannot buy liquor in Texas at convenience stores or grocery stores. Only in liquor stores.

but you can go and buy the same drink at the bar down the street for 5 times the price of it.
