Half was done before this fall. Phase 2 now underway.

Basically doing the same thing TCU did. Taking down the entire (west?) side and rebuilding it before the season starts.

Good for them, because that place was a full on bat cave.

SIGH......Maximum Bummer.

Not necessarily because of the memories.....although the ballet studio there had a lot of them......but because of the park land that was once across the street.

I know that 30 years is a long time and that universities are about money and constant "improvement", but this constant build, build, build does not thrill me.

Nor does naming things after people still living. For one of my alumni that claims to be about tradition, that seems like the ultimate contraction.

Perhaps it should be like what my father said about naming ships after people still alive. If you are going to do that, then you should sacrifice them on the slips when the ship is launched.
