Hmmmm..... I just looked at greatschools and something wacky is going on. I knew something was up because my sons excellent MS dropped from a 10 to a 9 with very strong test scores but the ES we hated in NC is a 10 with lackluster scores. West Plano info is a mess. Shows BAD scores at top but crazy high scores for 11th grade(?) I've always recommended that site but now I'd say they are not reliable. I'd look elsewhere for West Plano reviews.

West Plano is one of the most sought after schools in the area and even in the state. I dont know who could have possibly rated it 4 out of 10.

Okay Dallas suburb seems to the best option as of now.I need to work on deciding a suburb with good schools and one which is not too far off from airport.Thanks again for all the comments.More suggestions are welcome.

Plano west wins these awards but it is very misleading. Given the income of the parents the majority of these kids pay for additional tutoring and attend the karen Dillard SAT prep school. The admin has made aggregious judgment errors, everyone remembers their stance when a special needs child was being bullied last year. The school did nothing to help that family. If not for media lutlets and the police it would have been swept under the rug.
