Default Water Quality In Texas

Hi I'm moving to Texas within a year or so, *finishing up school in WA state*

I was wondering what the water quality from Denton up to Whitesboro is like. Is it well water, city water, etc? Is it good, bad. Thanks for any information anyone gives.

Jennifer

I live a little South of there, in the DFW metroplex. The water quality here in the mid cities seems to be okay. I drink tap water that is run through a filter and it tastes fine.

Here is a link that may be of some use.

Water seems to be fine in Lewisville. For consumption, I only use tap water to make coffee, but I stick to bottled water the rest of the time. If only the tap water in the tub wouldn't give such a huge buildup.

Cleaning gets very monotonous, you know.
