I would assume the papers in Midland,Odessa,El Paso,Lubbock and possibly Abilene,San Angelo, and Amarillo have ads for real estate in the Land of Enchantment.

Raw desert land? Or land with some type of potential? Newspaper ads are a dying medium, lots of online places to advertise, for less and with worldwide exposure.

None, unless you mean online newspaper sites and in which case, why limit yourself?
Like wpme said, no one reads print newspaper ads anymore.

fwiw, I'm a Texan who is seriously considering moving to NM.

Many newspapers have online listings, right? I need to look into that. We have a huge log home on over 100 fenced acres - - not what most Texans would call a "ranch" but there are a couple adjoining properties that are sellable. I figured with all the floods and tornadoes happening in Texas there might be some of you folks who'd like to leave.

Whereabouts in NM is this property located?

Get it listed through an agent. That will get it out on Zillow, Trullia, Realtor.com, etc. that is where you will get the most visibility. Honestly, papers get the least visibility in terms of real estate ads.
