Hi all,

I'm moving down to Temple in a couple weeks. My future coworkers advised moving towards west Temple or possibly north Temple to find the safest, fastest growing neighborhoods. I've been looking and was interest in Echo Station (Temple, TX Neighborhood | Echo Station Apartments Temple, TX Neighborhood) apartments, but they're just a few minutes south of Baylor Scott & White Memorial hospital (my employer). Is that area safe?

Here are a few other apartments that caught my eye (linking directly to their map for your convenience):
The Bluffs
Retreat at Western Hills Apartments For Rent in Temple, Texas - ForRent.com (map on bottom)

The reason safety is important is due to the fact that my mother and grandmother are moving down with me in the short-term. My mother will go to work in a couple months, which means my 85 year old grandma will be alone at home.

Echo Station isn't a bad area at all. Other apartment complexes to look into are Pecan Pointe, River Springs at Barge Ranch (Belton), and a few others in Belton. Echo Station is going to put you closest to BS&W though. Have you already found something?
