Sad to say, but 0.72" is an impressive amount of rain. But that's coming from someone who hasn't seen 0.72" cumulative rain from November-now

Yeah, it tends to rain in all the wrong places. The places that do need it aren't getting enough. With Houston getting the brunt of the moisture from the Gulf, they're getting all of the rain now. What we really need is something from the Pacific to move through the western and northern portions of the state. Those locations are where they are the driest, as well as Central Texas.
