It's okay to have a tie for first place, buddy. Both are good.

I also like the late-Winter/early-Spring time because of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Good food that will clog your arteries.

Texas has seasons??? There are really only two: most everything is Green and most everything is Brown!

I like most everything is Green the best!

Spring all the way! I love seeing everything come back to life, and I get this intense urge to plant things in the ground for the bugs to munch on. Wish my thumb was greener. Autumn is really lovely too, but far too short!

I wish I could get used to the summer heat in a few days like some of you! Summer will always be my least favorite season in Texas.

Still, nothing beats good, strong air-conditioning.

Spring. The fireflys come back (hopefully) and the butterflies come out. And I love it when my crape merdle begins to bloom.

I like the heat until a little after 4th of July - the sounds of the locusts lull me to sleep.

In August, it's time to take a trip. Usually when I do that, the heat lets up and I feel cheated.

I voted for fall. However, the wonderful thing about Abilene and West Texas is that all four seasons can appear in one week--sometimes twice each. It keeps the plants confused. They don't know when to bud or when to drop their leaves.
