The Democrats became more moderate with Clinton (the "New Democrats"). He really wasn't all that liberal. Dukakis (who?) was liberal, and look where that got him. I thought Ann Richards was great. For the record, I'm a liberal in some ways, but conservative in others.

Obama is the man. I am a mixed breed also but I find it hard when an older Hispanic lady said in Dallas that she would not vote fir him because he is black. Has she forgot all the things MLK did for Hispanics
