Domestic airfares across the country have generally been dropping amid increased competition and lower fuel prices. The trend has been even stronger in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as the end to restrictions on nonstop flights from Love Field in 2014 has led to a spike in capacity at the airport.

Whenever government regulations are repealed we are usually big winners.
There'll never be a spike in capacity that near to the center, but there's a spike in demand.
