Default waxahachie air quality

Hello, I have a question about air quality in Waxahachie. I can find out lots of info on Midlothian and Cedar Hill but nothing on places like Maypearl, Ovilla, and Waxahachie. I am looking into moving in that direction and need to know because I have a 9 year old with allergies. The cement plant and similar plants in the area concern me. I have read very disturbing info on the air quality in many areas there and am curious about places further south. I know the north wind is a consideration in the winter. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Ovilla is snuggled right there between Red Oak and Midlothian and I would be concerned about the air quality that way. Waxahatchie is not that far either. I am glad that you are concerned about that, even healthy children and adults can fall prey and become sick due to those plants. I am one of them and did not fully understand what happened to me till I pieced it together. Were fine here now but it took us to move away to get better. Maybe contact the downwind organization and see if they can answer about the outer lying areas.
