Default West and North of Ft Worth Area

Hello! I've really enjoyed reading all the posts here but I have still have some questions.

We are in El Paso, TX right now. My husband was born here and I came here from Germany in 1988. My husband is an owner/operator in trucking, I am a Branch Manager for a large Corp. not sure if I can relocate within the firm. But that would not be a problem.

We want to move to north of Ft Worth, or Azle, Weatherford area. Looking for .5 to 2 acres, house 1800+ sq ft. We have really supernice neighbors right now but we are afraid of getting into a new neighborhood. At the same time my husband has many hobbies, never enough space in the garage, we just need some more room, at least RV parking for Boat and Jet Ski, hence a slightly larger property would be nice. Price range to $180,000.

We've just been to Ft. Worth and really liked Flower Mound and Roanoke because it's so close to the lake, but the properties are all very small or much more than I can spend.

Any experiences in the Azle, Weatherford, North of Ft Worth areas? Any recommendations? Good experiences? Not so good area we should stay away from?

Thanks so much in advance!
