on wed in D/fw we had an unexpected SNOW!!! we had up to 2 in. schools were closed and it was great because no one expected it to come this north. This time it was better to live in the farther south than north for the snow. It was GREAT

El Paso was reported to be getting 2-5 inches of snow.. we didn't get jack. I think this is hell paso.. we dont get squat, and everyone around us does... this sucks.

Ft Worth/ Dallas spent 80 hours below freezing. That hasn't happened for several years. Unfortunately, in addition to snow, we also got freezing rain. That's a lot worse than snow. It is presently about 37 degrees, after a cold rain of about a day. It is forecast to get into the 50s by late this week, and we'll even see some sun. It's been a week.
