yes--can tell there is an Austin/Central TX bias there...nothing about El Paso or East TX ventured in--or FT Worth...
nothing about BBQ, the state food, or the brewery in Shiner--the only one in the state that did not close in Prohibition...
nothing about the Chicken Ranch--which most people have probably forgotten by now....

Not everybody! If ever you're in Houston, you can get a Chicken Ranch T-shirt at some of the vintage clothing stores in the Heights. PM me for more info, if interested.

Weird I got 70% (only lived there 10 years) and husband got 64%, but there sure were a lot of questions about Austin.

Someone please P.M. what a Texit is...I think I know but can't be sure (DH says it's the exiting one).

Texit? Just look for the deep ruts worn in the grass.

I lived about half my life there and I got a 70%, my parents were also from there.

I love the Texit thing...I used to do that all the time AND in fact have done it here in Florida, people kind of freak when you do it here though. Whats the point of having an SUV if you can't drive on the grass and the median???

I was 68% and I'm not yet a "real" Texan yet. I'm currently in California and will be moving to Austin within a few weeks. I guess I have a lot to learn still

60%, not bad considering I've been here under a year and came from CA!
