I am going to bring my kids along, don't have a sitter. I always went with my family to vote from an early age. It was a very big deal to my family especially my grandfather. I think if I had told him I wasn't going to vote when I turned 18 he would have drug me into the polling place by my hair to make sure I got there.

Thats a bummer. My first election was a presidential election. It was neat to know that my first vote was for something so important. Maybe you can have your son volunteer with the local precint (sp) on election day so he can still be apart of the process.
