Thanks, flatlander, was not sure if it was Rush. I knew it was the neighborhood for doctors/professors. And truly is very pleasant. Wondering if you know what those beautiful lilac blooms are on bushes that I see there? Wisteria?

This was long before Mapquest... and the street was only basically 6 houses long, with 5 of the houses facing the connecting streets.

Sad story, but when my Mom died my Dad had to go flag down the ambulance after it circled the park a time or two. Had to do the same with pizza delivery guys as well. You would think city services would have more upto date maps, but perhaps someone thought it wasnt important not knowing 1 person lived on it.

I just retired a year ago in Brownfield. Lots of houses and prices are good compared to the rest of the nation. 5 cross roads, it is now a wet county and looking for more growth. Served with Walmart and United Grocers, plus many small businesses. Acreage all around, just take your pick.
