Hi everybody, Do yall know how much a studio or one-bedroom apartment in a good and safe part of Midland would be?I am looking for one with no credit check since I dont borrow money since I am a Dave Ramsey fan.I know that will complicate things.I feel like I need to know how much good and safe apartments are in Midland so I will know how much money I need to make.I know apartments were really high during the boom but idk if they are still high or not since oil is low now. Thanks yall.

Hi. I've never rented in Midland, so I can't answer that part of your question.

But I can tell you, as a fellow DR fan, that if you fail the credit check but meet the income requirement (typically 3x monthly rent) they will probably ask for an additional deposit equal to one month's rent. If this is the case, emphasize to them that because you don't borrow money your credit score is low but so is your debt-to-income ratio, which translates directly into increased ability to pay.

Good luck!
