I don't have a problem with making it easier for temporary guest workers coming here, as long as they are properly vetted, obey the law, and do not access our government social services before they go back home. On the other hand those temporary guest workers should not be exploited & abused like they have been in the past by their employers.

Open border advocates are anarchists, IMO. Our government exists to protect the citizens, and that includes maintaining a secure border.

Nobody is in favor of open borders
That's a rightwing made up accusation to demonize the liberal agenda of treating immigrants as human beings

More bovine fecal droppings.

Many, many on the Left advocate open borders ... many. Want me to get the sources and prove it because I can ... many influential Leftists. From limousin lib George Clooney to big leftist/anarchist backer George Soros. I can find statements from speeches of the last 2 Dem presidents stating support for open borders, no borders, decrying U.S. nationalism . I can make a list, a very long list, of important leftist who are pro open border ... you want the weight of evidence to bury you? I am remiss to do that much copying and pasting with links because of the fruitless nature of arguing with insensibles from the Left but there is plenty out there.

You said nobody! Wanna retract?

pls don't make me do the work, just admit you "mis-spoke".

Guess what genius. Every violator of the law gets treated as a human being. As a human violator of the law that is.

Now here is another story about dead citizens at the hands of an illegal: "Mexican illegal immigrant who has been removed from the US SEVEN times had 'drunk 12 beers and was driving at 100mph' when he crashed his van and killed a father-of-three"

When conservatives say that left wingers support open borders, they don't necessarily mean that all left wingers want just anyone to come over as thought it was anarchy. But they do support such lax border law reforms and believe that anyone has a right to come here and we should make it as easy as possible for them. They decry the stringent vetting process we have because it's so difficult for people to come in that they resort to illegally immigrating.

Some people use that as an argument, that people wouldn't come here illegally if we didn't make it so hard for them to come here.

where is anybody saying illegals are not human beings? your retort again shows how you favor those who broke the law over those who waited years and entered legally

the liberal agenda is well documented and you can not refute the reason is more voters- plain and simple - more people to be depended on govt handouts =

its not about fairness - its about power - and power for those elected liberals that want those voters dependent on them
