Houston just won the World Series. This is the first time a team from Texas has done it.I know this must mean a lot to Houston considering all the hardship they have been through this year.Way to go for Texas.

What an exciting World Series. I had a feeling going into last night's final game, the Astros were going to clinch it and boy, did they ever! Congratulations Astros, you went home champions! Way to go, Houston! All of Texas is proud for you!

Sadly Ellen cheered on the Dodgers on her show while her home state of Louisiana is Astros country. (Though she is far removed from her ties to the state after admittedly being fired from her first job for being Lesbian.) I guess we finally got the attention of the rest of the state (and the nation) outside of Southern Texas and Coastal Louisiana.

Well, that's not surprising. As long as she's been in Hollywood, she's more LA now than anything, and I don't mean Louisiana...lol.
