Default question for lampasas residents

any recoommendations on a good GP (General Practice) or FP (Family Practice) physician in Lampasas or close to?
i moved to the area almost 6 months ago and need to line up a good doc.
i work for the US Army as a Registered Nurse, so i only know Army docs...and i am not eligible for care at MTF's...
thanks!

Default Docs in Lampasas

We went to Dr Lane. he is in a group that has building in lampasas and one in Cove that they switch days to go too. His wife was my son's preK teacher as well. He was from our provider list- he does active and DoD families

How ya doing? Are you still interested in buying in kempner? We haven't had a "good" (qualified)buyer yet.. . and the hous eis "country" like you want, LOL

thanks SO much for finding this thread and answering! can you tell me how old approximately Dr Lane is? and his personality/style? anything?
not so sure about Kempner. i have really found Gatesville to my liking for many reasons. i spend alot of my free time there actually. and besides, i couldnt afford your house! i am just a single female nurse!

I am almost never sick- but hubby went to him and was pleased. I went to the Cove "office" for my son and had the other doc in their practice. he wasn't too young- but was a good one with kids. Dr lane...If I was going by his wife's personality should be great. She was one the best teachers any of my 4 have ever had. I am bad on guessing age- but they have 17 yr old twins.

As for the house- email me private so I can send you more info. The house payment w/ insurance & tax we payed less than what you'd think..(less than 1000 month) and you'd still have your hill views & room for dog to roam. I miss the quiet!! I love my new cul de sac for my kids- but for me I miss that quiet space to drink my coffee. ahhhh

thanks will try him out. really appreciate it. i cant buy a house right now-my lease aint up till late sept!! and i am actually looking to pay less than 700/month in mortgage. houses in Gatesville are as cheap as 38K if i were desperate and could live with just a backyard...but will buy a small house with as much land as i can qualify for, which wont be much. i KNOW i wouldnt qualify for your house!
