I'm past ready. When September comes along, I want fall.

We're lucky here in NE Texas because we do actually get fall color due to having so many trees, but we get those fall colors in, oh, around Thanksgiving - LOL. Or Christmas - I'm still raking leaves in our yard in December!

I hear 12 Sept is the annual "Summer Heat is finally over" celebration. (Hill Country)

I will welcome that!

Yes. I’ve been ready since July, since summer started in May this year.

we have fall?!

Not much fall in Central Texas, when I first moved here almost 30 years ago, my mother would send me colored leaves from her trees!

I'm happy to have highs around 99 instead of 104 for the week ahead!

I like Fall in Texas. Fall doesn't really start until October 1 or so.

I did not like May this year. To me, May is the big difference between Dallas and Phoenix. May is usually tolerable in Dallas but not tolerable in Phoenix. This May was a Phoenix-like May in Dallas.

First noticeably cooler cold front is when I consider the beginning of fall. Usually that is closer to Halloween than anything, in Central TX.
