Creoles DIDN'T originally consider themselves black, which is why some Creoles still consider themselves better than "regular" black folks to this day.

LOL, the fact that it is heavy on seafood and has a completely different and unique set of seasonings IS what makes it DISTINCT (different) from just African American Soul Food.

There is a reason why Creole cuisine is popular throughout other states all over America among black people (even ones who are USED to eating Soul Food) and pretty much people in general: Because it is DISTINCT and UNIQUE and you can't just get it anywhere. Houston is just lucky to have plenty of awesome authentic Creole and Cajun food because it shares the Gulf Coast with Louisiana and is FULL of people FROM Louisiana who know how to cook it authentically. I mean, it's not rocket science...

Well, you're black too and you've also proven that you're not quite an expert in that area either, so...

He's lying, trying to save face. He just said in post #245, "I have several Creole friends born and raised in Houston and they consider themselves black." Why not just say, "I'M Creole and I consider MYSELF black."

Well, Dallas is a good 4 to 5 hours from the Gulf Coast, so why the %#@& would you expect people in Dallas to sit around sucking on crawfish on a regular basis?!?

First of all, I don’t have to tell y’all anything. There are Creoles of all shades. I’m a dark skinned one. The Creoles y’all are referring to are the ones who can pass for white.

Second, these attacks are not called for.
