I hate when you act like I don’t know what I’m talking about. So annoying.
Who said Houston didn’t have Viet-Cajun places? I sure didn’t. I just said that very few of Houston’s Vietnamese people are actually Casian which is true.

Yeah, NO WAY. Cajun and Creole food in Houston are part of the culture. Dallas may have great Korean and Indian food but NO WAY those cuisines are as ingrained in the Dallas culture as Cajun and Creole are in Houston. I think that is what SouthernBoy has been saying all along...

I’ve been saying this! They will take it from someone else besides me. I’m over it.

The problem is that you give opinions on a city you don’t know anything about. You hate it when people give opinions on anything black if they aren’t black yet you do the exact same thing about a city you know nothing of. It’s definitely hypocritical.

Who the hell said they were? I was talking about the gap in quality not what they mean culturally to the city.

Perhaps you’d like to visit the original post of this thread where I said I thought Houston has better food than Dallas before you start assigning opinions to people. And yeah the gap in quality of Korean food between Dallas and Houston is similar to the gap in quality between Houston and Dallas in regards to Cajun food. The Korean food in Houston is easily the WORST of any major metro area in the US whereas in Dallas it’s very good. By that same token, what keeps Dallas from being a great food city is that Dallas doesn’t have a definitive regional cuisine and Houston does.

Nonetheless Cajun food does exist in Dallas just as Korean food does in Houston. Southern boy said people in Dallas don’t eat Crawfish in Dallas? Cluelessness at it’s finest. It’s very popular there just not as popular as it is here. The biggest differences in quality of Cajun food in Dallas as opposed to Houston have little to do with crawfish and a lot more to do with other dishes like Boudin.

Unless you’ve lived in both cities I guess it’s not something you’d comprehend.

Man y'all……. Arguing about food??? Really?? Arguing about food is going waaaaaaaay off topic and quite the reach to prove points about cities. Don't go off on tangents about the food. This isn't City food vs City food or cuisine battles mmmmmk?? lol. Refocus and stick to only bring up positive points about a city and that's it! That is all you have to do. The spaghetti in Dallas is not equal to the Shrimp in Houston blah blah blah....who cares!!! That stuff means nothing!!! Sheesh. Just talk about the cities. And there is never a need to get personal in these threads. Now I will say that I certainly cape for Houston, however, I do miss the BBQ in Dallas. Houston has good bbq. But Dallas to me does BBQ a little bit better, and haircuts too. These brothas down in Houston can not cut hair lolololol. I had 1 bad cut in Dallas. I have had a many a bad cuts here in Htown lmbao but I still love Htown. They just need help with BBQ and haircuts down here lololololol.
