You reckon they're brainwashing me through the air? Maybe the food I eat? lol I figure you might be just the person to ask. btw Before you answer, I never watch news of any sort. I use to catch the local news on TV mainly to see what the weather was doing to do, but now I just wait and see for myself. I see headlines when I check my email, but avoid reading the articles. I've about worn my TV remote out switching channels every time one of these stupid political ads come on. If anything, I think all politicians should be limited to a certain (and reasonable) amount to campaign with so we are not lambasted every time we turn on the TV with them coming on and trying to feed us their BS.

Modern day America is scary, but I'm old school. Too bad you shot your mouth off before you knew that. I want to know about a political figure, I research them. I don't depend on a party to tell me anything, I don't depend on an association such as the NRA or AARP to tell me how I should think and vote. I am not influenced by friends, family, news, or public forums or any other social media when it comes to making up my mind regarding political issues and political people. I thank God every day I have a strong mind and I know how to use it. I have seen more weak minded people in the last decade than I have seen in my entire life. You bet modern day America is a scary place.

I'm looking forward to a few years from now when all this craziness is over and a bunch of the mouth-breathing partisans on both sides look back at this time with a feeling of "wtf was I thinking?!" The far right folks have to come to terms with their hate and greed and the far left folks have to come to terms with their gullibility and overreliance on emotion before the country can ever get back towards the so-called center.
I'm all over the map politically, but I'm probably right of center on more things when it comes down to it, but I agree with you and "So Above" totally.

Both Cruz and Abbott have been called as winners of their races.

Bless Beto's heart.

Cruz should be embarrassed as hell. He squeaked by with this one. He should probably work on not being so creepy. To barely beat a flaming leftist in Texas should be humiliating for him.

Good old Beto can go back to punk rocking, drunk driving and being one of the elite white overlords of El Paso.

CNN called the Senate for Republicans. Wolf - 'Why are we doing this?' And his answer was what you mentioned above. That the Senate seat was being called for Cruz to give the Republicans (currently called) 50.

Agree on Cruz being embarrassed to have a small margin of victory, but disagree on the future of Beto. Beto will be a candidate for President in 2020, possibly even the front runner.

Now that the annoyance of election season is over, I don't have to see these threads polluting these boards.

Agreed about Beto doing more after this. Wasn't expecting him to win at all, but there are bigger things in store for him.

Don't be angry, there's always a Whataburger District Manager position.
