Cant say I have heard of the man but 2 reputable guys in and around the Dell City/ El Paso area are Fred Price and Mike Stephens. They both offer lots for sale in the area

Thank you. I had a phone call from this person offering a large sum of money for some land I have in cornudas, it jus sounds too good to be true.

Well come by my place and say hi. I'm the first dirt road on the south side of 62-180 after you pass the airstrip on the north side of 62-180 heading east out of Cornudas. (I'm behind the "A" frame). I might have a 2foot by 4 foot plywood sign that says "Pancho Barnes Aerodrome" with an arrow beneath it hanging off the barb wire fence by the cattle guard entrance to Antelope Acres.

I was just curious how much land you have and how much they offered as I bought 50 + 5 acres 50 mi. east of El Paso in and around the same area as the others on this board (and hope to meet all of you at a bbq some day) and got a call from some firm asking about purchasing my property but I just told them I wasn't interested and they hung up! Didn't even try to dicker! They had left a message with a phone # so I didn't know what it was about when I first called. What company is this? Anyone know? What is property going for there now? I do know my taxes on bare land keep going up and hope they don't tax me out of it!

I sure hope she brings back the Cornudas Burger. I'm afraid that that the County is going to kill her financially though. Before she was grandfathered in, but now, she will have to meet all the new codes, and if she does, THAT is going to be expensive. I'll put my ear to the ground out here and see whatI can find out for you folks. Brie

sorry I didn't answer sooner, I didn't see your post. I have 217 acres in cornudas. The company that called was out of Denver and it was United Property. I found out later that it is a scam. To get any info from them, you have to send them some money and then they will send how much its worth and how much they will pay for it. (right) so as some told me on this page if it sounds to good to be true, then it probaly is. I will start setting up next, 4-10-09, so maybe I will see you out there sometime.
