I really want 20 - 40 acres and gradually build my container home compound
So really, how bad is it sharing the land with the rattlesnakes and stuff? I live in the North Carolina wooded suburbs now and deal with the occasional copperhead snakes and black widow spiders, I dont mind sharing my land if I can keep them out of the home.
How bad is winter? How do you heat?

Also Brie, next time you head into Dell City, can you please look and see if my sign is still hanging on the fence post? Its about 3 miles up from Rt 62/ 180 on the right hand side - small white sign that says Dark Horse Ranch. Thanks so much!!!!

Spanish Angels
After many decades, Marta is finally going to retire. She is going to lease Spanish Angels to a guy who doesn't know anything about cooking, but had the sence to keep ALL of Marta's staff. Sunday will be her last day there, Tee and I are going to stop in early Sunday morning before Church to share a last bowl of her Menudo with her before she turns the place over to the new person.
