Scroll down the REPLY window until you see the "Attach Files - Manage Attachments" slot. Click on that and it will open a window that allows you to upload photos from your computer.

If you just want to share photos already on the internet, then all you need to do is "copy" the URL (http:whatever it is) and paste it into the window that opens when you click on the "insert image" icon at the top of the REPLY window. This is the way to share photos that have been uploaded already to one of the photo sharing web sites like Photobucket.

If you're near a dirt trail road near a small cemetery feel free to go about 700 yards west and snap a lot of pictures. im just saying...

I don't profess to know about "zip" files as attachments, but what I do know is if you upload INDIVIDUAL IMAGE FILES (jpg, gif, etc), they will display correctly.

A "zip" file usually contains more than one sub-file (more than one image) so it takes special handling to "decompress" the zip file before decompressing the individual image files contained therein.

click on the file then explore and then open one at a time. If this doesn't work for you let me know and I will try to post them another way.
