It was a very hot and humid day and I'm sure the Bushs were holding their breaths for the rain to hold out, which it did, either later on that night or the next day it came in buckets. i have always wanted to be a freelance reporter/photog. i do alot of writingg,blogging etc.....i am actually well-versed with a good vocabulary but just write in a very "casual" way here on the forum...educated redneck ya know!

If I remember correctly, there was one of the best sunsets that day. Happened to be on their wedding night, too.

You'll find people you don't like in any town, small or large, so it's really not a big deal who lives where as long as the one disliked isn't your very next-door neighbor.

I may be wrong and do correct me, belle, but I don't think anyone can get that close to the ranch. As you stated in your post, belle, how far away were you from the house, land, or whatever before you were sent back to Crawford?
