Quick is not important to many of us. Apprehension of driving in a nutty place like Dallas is something many of us have. Many of us do it anyway, but it still makes us nervous. I, for one, will never drive in Dallas. It isn't worth the aggravation. Besides, I like being chauffeured by my children. Seriously though, I have very few reasons to ever be in Dallas. There isn't anything there for me except the airport. And I used to drive the Los Angeles freeways.........what happened?

LERRET is on a distinguished road
Heck, you'll get a million choices but If I was in LA where you say, I'd take the Hwy across the lake at Many, and into Texas. The two lanes there are great and not that slow. Cut to Palistine, Waco, Stephensville, then N on 281. You'll see a lot of Texas from pinewood to cross timbers. Enjoy the ride. I've been wanting to get back to Center Texas and see the foxhound tribute from an old foxhunter my dad used to know. And to Stephensville (N of Dublin actually) to see my great grandad's grave
