How come Texas' flag looks just like Cuba's??
JUST WHAT IN THE SAM HOUSTON IS GOING ON HERE?
CUBA STOLE OUR PRIDE AND JOY RIGHT UNDER OUR NOSES!
FIRST, OUR FINEST.......
AND LOOK AT THIS....YES'M THIS FLIES RIGHT OVER FIDELS CRIB...

It looks nothing like our flag. Its pretty cool looking though.
Unless your looking at the flag from 1868, when Carlos Manuel de Cespedes declared the start of the war for the independence of Cuba. This is the flag they used then:
kinda similar.. Fidel sorta ended that uprising.

Their shade of blue is a little bit lighter. Ours is more of a steel blue.

Cuba's flag looks more like Puerto Rico's flag, actually. A lot of countries' flags are similar. Some of the most unique are in Africa, though.

Chilies Flag.. Does look more like our Texas Flag. But I think our bigger bolder Blue is far more striking.

The Cespedes flag is actually still used by the Cuban Navy.
