Can any of you tell me what the lowest pay out for SSI is in Texas? If you know.

If you would help me find a web site I can look myself.

SSI is a federal program, I believe, so the amount wouldn't differ from one state to another. Check out Social Security Online.

The other post are correct in that SSI benefit amounts are set nationally but each state can add supplements. I do not think Texas has much if any supplement unless you are in a nursing home. The max is about $635 for a single person and $950 if married. Some of this is probably available at ssa.gov
