Seems like, on a previous thread, most of us mentioned family reunions and such where this boring chore and task was relegated to the kids (of which we all remember being in this realm).

My brother and I spent many, many hours as kids taking turns either sitting on the ice cream freezer or cranking it. We had to sit on it so it wouldn't move while being cranked. Just about the time your rear got frozen, you would move to the crank....
