We only have an apartment but we started packing the day I found out. I'm waiting for the relocation company my company contracts with so I can get the ball rolling on the rest of it. We still need to fly out there and settle on an apartment.
Then there's the things I need to get from my mom's house and some things around her house she wants me to help her with before I leave. Yup, it should fly by in no time at all!

So I think most of us know the difference!
Sorry to hear about your friend CC.

Thanks, Lakewooder, for mentioning my friend.

Oh my gosh, Miss Daisy. Miss Yellow Rose Budd of Texas is absolutely darling, a total little angel.
I agree; the nine weeks will fly by.

In my mind, just as those who were born before the Independence of the United States became Americans on July 4, 1776, and all those afterwards had to be native-born to be American citizens at birth, so to is the case in Texsa, excep the date in question is March 2, 1836. I believe that the child of two Texans born outside of Texas is a Texan, though if they don't move to Texas by age 18 they lose the privilege, and otherwise you ought to be born in Texas.
I don't believe in naturalizing as a Texan--it may as well be illegal immigration.

Any Texans. Just like the child of two Americans is an American, no matter where they are born.

I thought that's what you meant, but I didn't see how it related to Sam and the boys.
We're all Americans and that's really what's important. It's not always so cut and dry as to two Texans having children. What if one parent is from Michigan and one is from Texas? What is the child, a half-breed? I'm just kidding and laughing as I type, but this is just so far off the wall, I can't help but chuckle.
