Sure. Where I'm at (SA, TX) it's 95 and feels like 105. It's about 100 in Waco and Dallas.

Does this sort of cut into the conventional wisdom on global warming? It is July, after all.

That's a little strange for Lubbock unless they've had precipitation. I haven't heard of any fronts moving through. There is a chance of thunderstorms in the forecast tonight. Today is probably just an anomaly. You guys were in the nineties this past week.

I'm about an hour and a half south of you, and we were 95 down here as well. That doesn't bother me in the slightest. What made it seem miserable today was that we had no (36%) humidity and the wind didn't pick up until after 6:30.

According to the current online weather site, we are now down to 92F, up to 51% humidity, and have a breeze with gusts up to about 9mph. It feels more like home now, and its time to spend on the porch with a cold one, and enjoy a nice Texas sunset.

On another site, I saw the cold front south of Lubbock and north of DFW. It was 74 in Lubbock and 93 in Dallas. It's an anomaly; tomorrow it's supposed to be in the high 80's. I just thought it was something out of the ordinary in a season that is usually a little dull weather-wise in Texas.

Now it's 93 in SA. At least the A/C works.

Was 97 at 6, 88 now at 8. A "cold" front rolled through a while ago. My window a/c finally kicked off. I've got a head cold from hell from all the hots and cools, tired of it, too. I'm with bellestaroftexas. C'mon fall! I'm in Alvarado, just south of Fort Worth.
