Yep, the Houston Rockets won an NBA Championship title 2 years in a row!!!

Once in 1994, the other in 1995.

Looks like Dallas has some catching up to do...

Though, Houston has four championships. DFW has been blessed with better sports success than Houston teams, who seem to make it to the line, but can't cross it. Just takes one good decade (look at Boston since 2000).

DFW could have a solid decade. They won four in the nineties. The DFW area baseball team was im the world series last year and has the owner, gm, and young talent to contend for years to come. Voted as has the best farm system in baseball. The Cowboys look like they have a better coach that's pays more attention to detail and to discipline. Hockey teams can turn around quick it seems and we know about the defending champion Dallas Mavericks. Heck, FC Dallas was in the MLS cup last year.

San Antonio's city limits may be big, but the metro is really small compared to Houston and Dallas. Also, I wouldn't say Austin-San Antonio would become a Baltimore-DC-Philly. Maybe a Minneapolis-St. Paul.

I think the Texans have a better chance at the winning it than the cowboys, but DFW is the superior sports town in terms of championships won.
