I agree. The ugly in that building far outweighs the interest. It is slightly interesting from one angle but the other 7 angles look like a horrible office park atrocity.

I mean look at this thing:

Yeah it is kinda ugly, but to me its ugly in own right.pros: Its one of a kind. It has some architechtural value with the slanted illusion. It was featured in a Movie. Cons: To me the color is horrible! I think it would look better if they painted it "bright white". It looks like a cheaply designed futuristic building of the 70's. It smells like the 70's also. But alot of people like it too. At least it has a big plaza and fountain pond to protest on

I think the biggest thing for me is its purpose. As a city hall it looks horrendous. Maybe if they sell it to Texas Instruments it would make more sense.

I actually like Houston's city hall. It has that art deco element to it, unlike Dallas' city hall. It is absolutely terrible. Our old city hall is better, no contest.

Umm... I mean what are they defining as "super rich"?
I would define "super rich" as billionaires, which DFW has a LOT more of.
Houston does have more millionaires however so it balances out

Houston has almost twice as many people living in its city limits, but the difference here isn't off by much. So of course Houston will have more overall having more people. Dallas has an impressive percentage and the actual number of Billionaires in the Metroplex is very impressive.
